Sound earthquake strikes rancid Papua newborn Guinea
The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-6.7 shake struck Friday roughly 62 miles 100 kilometers east of Lae, on the countrys northern coast. The tremor struck on a depth of 28 miles 45 kilometers. The calm Tsunami cautionary foundation did not deliver a tsunami alert.
